History

The Broadway Playhouse has been the venue of choice for Local Santa Cruz performing artists since the late 1980’s.  The intimate, 62 seat,  black box theatre has hosts fantastic theater, music, literary and special events and is a proud community cornerstone of Santa Cruz.

In 2008, youth theater organization, West Creative Performing Arts, became the resident theater company and the Fun Institute joined at ta resident Improv company at the Broadway Playhouse.  Collectively, these organizations serve thousands of students annually ensuring the significance of the Broadway Playhouse in the Santa Cruz community for years to come.
